“Noble Enough.”

Two words I forget to tell myself
when I think I haven’t done enough
when I cannot save a life
rescue a child, build a house

Though I do try, and I am noble
enough
for there are others who won’t try
at all

But a reminder is often not enough
as noble enough, or good enough
is not enough for me
