It’s the only reason you are here:
you know no-one will ever love you
and through my screams, it’s still clear
you won’t forget the hundred seasons
the decades I stayed right here

Though hateful, bloodsucking – strong
there’s no-one could love you so hard,
so constantly, nor half as long
and in bloody knuckles, broken hands
I have taken your heart down, too

Don’t leave me, please, stay here
burn my books, burn my diaries
for I will die long before you do
when your love can’t drive out
the ways I despise myself

But when there is another girl –
and yeah, she might be sweet
but she won’t love you like I did
even if she never screams
